Custom 3D brace

Scoliosis and the ScoliBrace

Custom-made spinal braces for adults and children living with scoliosis. I am the only certified ScoliBrace provider in the state of Vermont.

A corrective brace

Unlike earlier scoliosis braces that merely hold a scoliotic curve, the ScoliBrace is a corrective brace.

Look better. Feel better. Live better.

Not all braces are created equal

Most scoliosis braces for kids and teens are not true custom 3D corrective braces. They often rely on three points of pressure to try to squeeze the spine straight, or come from a standard library of shapes the patient is forced to fit.

For growing children and adolescents, the right brace design can make all the difference to their results. ScoliBrace is a truly custom-designed brace, made with the best results in mind.

ScoliBrace treatment sequence: a patient’s back before treatment, in the brace, at 4 and 12 months, and X-rays with the curve at 33°, 11° and 6° (pre-treatment, 12 and 22 months)
A ScoliBrace treatment from the brace maker: before treatment, in treatment, after 4 and 12 months; X-rays before treatment and after 12 and 22 months.

Key benefits

  • Corrective

The ScoliBrace has an over-corrective design. It guides the body and spine into a posture that is the opposite of the shape of the scoliosis. In many cases where the spine is still growing, the curve may be reduced and the overall appearance of the body improved.

  • Custom designed

Each ScoliBrace is designed for the individual from 3D body scans, X-rays and posture photos. It is then fitted to the patient by a trained and certified ScoliBrace provider, for a tailored yet consistent treatment.

  • Easy to wear

Made from the patient’s 3D scans, the sleek brace is barely visible under clothing. A variety of colors and patterns lets patients personalize the look of their brace.

  • Versatile

ScoliBrace can be used for adult scoliosis that began as adolescent scoliosis, or for scoliosis that develops in adulthood (de novo scoliosis).
